Project Name: 536 E. Thompson Renovation of Our Place Safe Haven
Notice is hereby given that Turning Point Foundation will be accepting bids for Phase One (of three) of the renovation of 536 E. Thompson Blvd. in Ventura, CA.
Phase One consists of renovation work to the first floor of a two story building. The first floor is 3,004 sq. ft. in area. Renovation works includes remodeling the laundry, toilet and shower facilities and upgrading related mechanical and plumbing systems.
Bid award will be based upon the lowest, most responsive bidder submitting a completed time and materials cost estimate for each specialty listed below:
- Accessible Restrooms/Showers
- Laundry Area Relocation
- Exit Separation
Work will be bound by all relevant regulations to satisfy U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, California Department of Housing and Community Development and City of Ventura Community Development funding requirements including, but not limited to, Davis Bacon and prevailing wage. This is a federally funded project and is subject to federal requirements further detailed within the bid package. The second and third phases of the project will be undertaken as grant funding becomes available, and this bid could be extended.

Bids will be accepted until 5:00 pm on the 19 day of June 2017 in Turning Point Foundation’s office located at 557 E. Thompson Blvd., Ventura, CA, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
